Improvements To The Cabin
Since last summer we have made a few improvements to the cabin. If you have rented with us before, you may recognize the improvements in the following photos. If you liked it here last year, you will like it even more this year!
Laminate Flooring
We changed the flooring in the kitchen and dining room areas, and installed laminate flooring. At the same time we put in new baseboard and put a kicker plate on the inside of the side door.
New Sink
We put in a new sink in the bathroom. The old one had some damage to the enamel, and was not very attractive. Now we have a bright white sink.
New Bunk Bed
We replaced the old bunk beds in one of the bedrooms, because the old ones were rather wobbly. The safety of our guests is of utmost importance to us.
New Bedroom Light
We upgraded the light fixture in the bedroom with the bunk bed in it. This fixture looks better than what was there, plus it uses an energy efficient compact florescent bulb.
New Kitchen Light
We changed the light fixture in the kitchen area, and this one is lower and brighter than the one it replaced. It is good to have lots of light when you are preparing a meal.

We have made a number of other improvements that we don't have photos to show. These include safety improvements like we added a DVD player, and we strengthened the railing on the loft area and various repairs. All in all, we have tried to make the cabin better, safer and more enjoyable than it was in previous years.
