If you are a Canadian, you might like to take advantage of both cross border shopping and the 48 hour duty free allowance. If you travel down on a Friday evening, and return Sunday evening you would qualify for the 48 hour duty free allowance of $400 per person.

Perhaps you want to take advantage of the lower USA pricing, to purchase some gifts for the holliday season? You could go down to Tulalip outlet mall or Bellingham or Seattle on the Saturday, and bring your purchases back duty free on Sunday.
